Beethoven starts as a cute puppy who
is dognapped from a pet store but escapes from he dognappers. He wonders
into the Newton home and over the objection of Mr. Newton is accepted as
one of the family. He soon grows into a full sized St. Bernard. He is a
very smart dog and saves Mr. Newton from entering into a contract with
two people who planned to take over Mr. Newton's business (but Mr. Newton
does not see it that way, he did not know their true plans). But even Beethoven
needs help when he is captured by a cruel veterinarian who plans to use
him for an illegal experiment. It is up to Mr. Newton and his family to
rescue Beethoven.
This is a fun movie which is sure to
be enjoyed by younger child and adults who like light, simple comedies.
